Instructions for Online
Testing |

Ordering Exams |
- Before ordering your exam
please review this page as it outlines the entire process
- Enter the quantity you
desire and click Add to Cart
- You can order as many exams as needed
- Use the shopping cart icon to change quantities and verify that your order is correct
- Click Check Out when finished shopping
- When prompted to login, use the option Place
Order Without Account (directly below store home)
- An account created here is for the convenience
of repeat customers placing orders through the online store
- The testing site requires a separate account that
is unrelated to the store
- For payment processing purposes, fill out your billing and shipping information,
then click Continue
- Select your payment type, then click Continue
- Enter your payment information, then click Continue
- Clicking Continue will place your order and
send an order confirmation via email

Order Confirmation |
- You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your order
- Your order will then be sent to processing
- Orders are processed Monday - Friday
- Orders placed on Friday afternoon or over the weekend will be
processed Monday in the order they have been received
- Though we strive to process orders same day
received, please allow for up to 2 business days for processing.
- Upon completion you will receive a 2nd email with codes
and instructions (below) to access the
online tests.

Creating a Testing
Account |
- This is a 2 step process
- To create your account for testing go to Sign-Up
(top right corner)
- If you already have an account simply sign in
- Enter your email address, password, and name
- Each technician must have
their own separate email
- The SBCA will not recognize
certifications taken under shared email addresses
- Free email accounts are available through MSN,
Yahoo, Google
- After you click Register, login to your
account
- Click Edit Information (green button) and complete your profile
- Use 0 for any fields that are not applicable
- Failure to fill out required fields will result
in inability to take exam
- Double-check that your profile information is
correct. Inaccurate information will lead to delays in receiving
your certification materials

Taking the Exams |
- After submitting your profile click on My Exams
and then Add My Exams (green cross)
- Enter your test code (received in 2nd email)
- If your profile is incomplete you will not be
allowed to add your exam
- Click on Take Exam
- This will not start your exam!
- You will see the details of the exam (time
allowed, number of questions, etc)
- The test is 90 minutes. You have 2
attempts.
- Click Start Exam to begin your test
- After completing your test you will need to click
on Submit Exam
- Upon successful completion of your test you may
access your certificate and certification number by clicking on My Results

Passing the
Exams |
- When a student passes their exam they will be able to print their
certificate immediately
- Certificates will include name, certification type, and certification
number
- Approximately 4-6 weeks after passing the exam, students
will receive a badge with their name and certification number

Failing the
Exams |
- In the event someone fails an exam they will receive a free retake
- Retakes take 1 hour to process
